A phone number is a way into your NoClick account, alongside Google, an email and password, and SSO. The same number you message NoClick from on WhatsApp signs you in on the web, so a chat on your phone and the workflows you open in a browser stay one account.

Sign in with a code

1

Choose Continue with phone

On the sign-in page, click Continue with phone. The same option is in the sign-in panel inside the app.
2

Enter your number

Pick your country in the Phone number field, or type the number with its calling code. Digits typed without a calling code get the selected country’s, and the number formats as you type.
3

Get a code

Click Text me a code. NoClick texts a code to that number.
4

Enter the code

Type the code and click Sign in. Use a different number goes back a step.
A number NoClick has not seen before makes an account, so this form signs you up as well as in. An account made this way has no email address until you add one. Settings → Phone lists the numbers your account is reachable on and adds more.
1

Add a number

In the row that reads No phone linked, or Add another number once one is there, pick the country and type the number, then send the code.
2

Verify it

Enter the code and click Verify. Codes expire after ten minutes. Send again sends a new one, and Change number starts over on a different number.
Each linked number shows how it was proven: Verified for a code you entered here, or Linked on WhatsApp for a number that reached NoClick over WhatsApp, which authenticates the sender itself.
Linking a number is what makes WhatsApp messages and calls from it reach your account. The code proves the number is yours, and nothing else is sent to it until you opt in.

Connect a WhatsApp chat to an account you already have

An account that started on WhatsApp has a number but no email. You can connect it to an account you already sign in to, from inside the chat.
1

Name the email

In the chat, ask to connect the email address you sign in with. NoClick emails a six digit code to that address.
2

Send the code back

Reply with the code. It expires after fifteen minutes, and is spent after five wrong tries, so you need a fresh one after that.
Nothing moves until a code matches, so naming an address you do not hold reaches nothing, and whether an account exists for it is not disclosed either way. On a match, one of two things happens. Where an account already uses that email, it absorbs the phone account: workflows, connected accounts, published apps, and the chat itself move across, and you keep signing in as you did before. Where no account uses that email, the phone account takes it, so the same account now signs in by email as well as by phone. Billing and usage history stay with the account that recorded them.
